ARH is now offering the laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding procedure, a minimally invasive method with fewer complications. The practice is headed by G. Derek Weiss, MD and John Oldham, Jr., MD., who are recognized by the American Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery as Center of Excellence Surgeons. Together they have performed thousands of weight loss procedures including 40 percent of all bariatric surgeries in Kentucky last year.
